Outdoor play just got even better at Henderson

There is plenty of excitement at our Henderson Early Learning Centre, with tamariki making the most of their brand new outdoor space. 

Thanks to the incredible support of FBL, Green Acres NZ, Hire A Hubby, our outdoor area has been completely transformed into a bright and inviting place for tamariki to explore, play, and learn together. 



The refreshed space now includes beautiful new decking around the sandpit, fresh turf perfect for running and jumping, and colourful trees and flowers that have brought new life to the centre. It has quickly become a favourite spot for outdoor adventures, messy play, and plenty of happy moments. 



This transformation is part of the ongoing partnership between Barnardos Aotearoa and Green Acres NZ, focused on creating positive change for tamariki and whānau across Aotearoa through practical, hands on support. 

We are so grateful to every single person who gave their time, energy, and skills to help bring this space to life. Seeing the excitement and joy on our tamariki faces says it all.
